Hi guys,

Im new to the game and I have a customer who has an issue with 5-10 random, 12v, MR16 35W downlights (with each row connected on its own Dimmer switch) refusing to work.
I was wondering could this most likely be the transformer that needs replacing? I havnt been on site to look for myself so I thought Id do some hom work before i went in. Ive got 2 hours to do it in before the shop opens.

Ant help would be much appreciated.

PS its my girlfriends boss that needs the work done :p

i'd charge £40 for going there , including 1st 1/2 hour. then £25/hour after that. all parts on top. if it's more than 5 miles each way, i charge £1 /mile (miles both ways ) on top.

So, Let me see if i got this right? £40 for the call out fee, plus the 25 for the rest of the half hour and 25 every hour after that?

plus Retail price on materials?

would you charge him the trip up and back to the supplier aswel? lol
