Hi

Got them this morning, thanks again CK.

They work great with these badly designed Deta sockets to get the correct angle to not fudge their slotted terminal screws!!

I've cut off some of the plastic on some of my VDE drivers because of exactly that.

Claire, I'd not seen these in the flesh before now, I've always thought they had completely round handles and could roll away, which has put me off buying various manufacturers screwdrivers before. I was just going by the photos and while it says the handles are 'ergonomic' here...

VDE Slim Screwdriver set - 5 piece Slotted/PZD : Carl Kammerling International - http://www.carlkammerling.com/products/ck_tools/screwdrivers/dextro_vde_slim/vde_slim_screwdriver_set_5_piece_slottedpzd/

...I didn't realise they were oval and not annoying round ones.

Gaz :)

Still waiting by the door for my delivery.
Please hurry up Mr postman. I'm getting hungry.

Do you live next to CK or something?! Crazy quick delivery lol

Guess what was there when I got home ladies and gents!
A set of 5 swanky new screwdrivers.
Pz1, pz2, flat 3.5, 4 and 5.5
Pretty much the most used drivers in a lovely little moulded case.

Can't wait to get some use out of them tomorrow second fixing.

Got to say without using them I like how the 4mm flat handle is smaller than the usual ck drivers. Perfect for my little girl hands (they fit in a 74mm hole:D)

Thanks again to ck for this competition :D

Well I have to say having now been using these in anger for a few days, they are living up to my expectations. The Dextro handles fit nicely in the hand and of course being oval, don't roll away when you put them down.

Despite being thinner, they seem plenty strong enough and the kit includes a nice range of sizes, but I have had to reach for one of my standard Dextro VDE flat blades for some terminal screws in sockets/fused connection units/facia plate screws.

My biggest complaint... the largest flat blade simply doesn't stay in my pouch pockets very well. It's slightly too long so it ends up in getting caught a bit too easy and just falls out.

Overall though, love them and they are now a permanent fixture in my tool bag.

Thanks to CK for running these competitions :)
