Doing my ACA on Monday.
Heard we should now be using rubber shielding and insulated crocodile clamps when doing a Ze.
How do you remove the earth cable and access the connections with this in place?
Can someone inform the procedure for this?

Cheers

I can't fit the life of me think why you would need a rubber sheet to cover any exposed conductive parts?
the tester will not allow a voltage of greater than 50v anyway, and you will have already verified that these parts are in fact bonded (where required) before the live tests take place.
also, can you imagine the amount of rubber that would be required in say a factory?

i really don't see the point!

nb the questions at the end are the hardest part if you are finding them tricky work from the back of the question paper to the front and take a bottle of water with you it gets quite warm when some random guy is asking you a million questions while youre trying to test something
