in a way i wanna keep the job because through this and the work im doing im learning loads, but i could get myself in serious trouble!!

Sure you will get more confident as the weeks pass, but maybe you should speak to the boss and ask him to pay for a refresher on the 2391 course.

to be honest the 2391 didnt teach me alot!! they kind of teach you to pass the exam, not to actually test, well that was my opinion anyway, theyve got another electrician who has been testing for them and im waiting to speak to him but hes bin off since i started, and hes off for 2 more weeks, but from wot iv heard he does it on minor works certs so he mite know less than me!!

thanks again!! i took the **** wen i heard about this site but its really good!!

The forum is viewable by the general public so therefore, swearing is not tolerated.

Although we have a swear filter in place, its not perfect and some words do slip through.

Its easier to miss out the swearing when you type.

Cheers.

there is a cracking book by a guy called chris kitcher , he teaches at crawley college and what isnt in that book isnt worth knowing. well worth a look at for inspection and testing. also has a walk through of each test on you tube just to help you brush up on your technic
