airflow meters for extracor fans..building inspectors

hi all
has anyone had there building inspector ask them to supply a cert for air flow from there ex fans.
he tells me that its been a requirement since oct 2010..
any veiws on this?

just adjust your quotes to suit...
the worst thing is that when you (i) ring the labc or the office of your local building inspector they know nothing..can give no advice..cant give the name of anyone or company that can....but still get shirty with you if you ask if they are sure before you spend x £1000.00 and tell you no cert no signing off.
then 3 days later ring the builder...not the electrician...and say sorry ive made a mistake...all ok now...bye.
why am i suprised by this..
i wish i was just pulling wire. lol
