Hi. another new guy here. I have just finished first fix on an old cottage. this included meter position change. Having been assured by Western power that they would not be supplying an earth i duly installed 10mm earth for TT installation to go along with my 25mm tails. On connecting up western power have now told me that this can be Tn-c-s. Am I stuck with having to put a rod down in terrible soil because of my earth CSA. P.S In my absence they have already connected the 10mm earth to their neutral. Any advice appreciated. PPS I indend to let the NIC look at this job for my first assessment.

Dont see this as a problem. You will need to swap out the 10 for 16mm though.

Then just carry on as PME system and whip out the rod.

the 10mm is buried in 20metres of already plastered walls. TT i fancy?
