just a quick question
am i qualified enough to do electrical work on my own
i have city and guilds 2330 level 3
level 3 in certificate for the inspection and testing of electrical equipment
level 2 in fundamental inspection testing and initial verification

just asking as people at work are saying i am qualified and some are saying that i am not
i just want a reliable answer as soon we will be made redundant and want a backup etc.
I don't think you'll get a 'reliable answer' but you might get a discussion.
Confidence counts for a lot but again it isn't everything - there are a lot of people who have got a lot of confidence, gone out on their own and realised they don't actually know anything.
It might be worth doing a couple of small private jobs before you take the plunge and go it alone full time.
