Am2 done!

finished my AM2 exam today, hopefully all went well not sure where i could improve on if worst comes to it, but hey stay positive i am sure it went well and i will get the result i want.

I managed to sleep only just it was the most stress I have ever had still waiting for my result

Confidence is what its all about, i completed mine over 5 years ago now so was the old one which i understand was a bit harder to do

Anyhow like said above a logical approach and common sense dont go a miss

yeah i have a job at the moment, work on the commercial catering side doing school refurbs, care homes etc. why you ask?

I did mine in october turned up to work the next day all lads sed how did you do, i said i think i failed everything and the more i talked about it to them the more i realised i did what was needed and come sunday lunch i gt a text saying my results were available. And i read the email and thought **** i failed the online exam the only part i thought i did well on. Then re read it and i realised i passsed the lot! Happy days. My mate failed his testing for not disconnecting the main earth when doing ZE. BUT I hope you done well.

well i definately disconnected for the ZE so fingers crossed then, we got told should hear by friday, do you get the results in a txt aswell not just through an email?

I simply asked as i frequently work in and around the newcastle/gateshead area, currently live in Middlesbrough though

yes well the chap i did the 2391 with said to me that guys had failed the big rig on that one for the same reason......not dropping out the main earthing conductor before doing a Ze......or droppin it out.....but failing to do a safe isolation first...thus rendering the install unsafe......

the more comments made on this thread the more confident i am getting that i passed but dont wanna count my chickens just yet, but i definately did the safe isolation as it is something he stood over and watched, and counted the 10 tests

Well done, I think i did the safe isolation wrong i done it 3 times before the fault find just because i kept loosing my nerve but fair play to the assessor he calmed me down and obvisously that 50 quid helped

it must of changed when i done my am2 you know when you finished if you passed
