Hi

I am sitting my AM2S next week. I feel fine with all of it except the lighting section. it requires a 2 way and intermediate lighting circuit to be installed. but unsure how to tackle it whether to wire at the switch or to go the light first. not that sure on it.

greatly appreciate if anyone knows or has sat the am2 recently to help thanks:)

I’ve installed the bays for the AM2 8 bays and 2 test bay with 46 faults per bay in the test bays controlled via a 2 way switching in a remote room. The wiring to the lighting is feed to the switch first not 3 plate at the light, so the light will have switchwire neutral and Earth only, there’ll be 2 x 2ways and a intermediate switches

It will tell you exactly how they want it wired. You don't need any knowledge to pass the am2 practical, it's very simple, just follow the instructions they give you carefully. Remember not to worry/panic just treat it like following a wiring diagram in work.

Wouldn't mind a gander at that wiring diagram 🤣
