your not using it right then, with a masonry blade there fine, messy but fine, i have used one a fair bit on rewires.
Masonary dust is more than a bit of an issue with them fella.

They aren't fit for use in an occupied building. So, they are useless imo. Spend a bit more, get a chaser and a vac.

we dont touch occupied rewires, if they want it done clean then sticky back all over.

if it needs to be kept clean ill use a multitool instead.

this thread is about angle grinders not wall chasers. wall chasers wont cut boxes out etc

Tried two different plant hire companies for wall chasers with vacuum. Complete waste of time AND money. Use angle grinder & PPE, and turn a lovely dusty red or grey colour!

i use a ÂŁ20 twin blade wall chaser from aldi with a henry that cost ÂŁ2 from car boot. i'd say it gets rid of 80% of the dust.

I have a hilti wall chaser + vac and it's the dogs 40mm deep 40mm wide. I have a grinder aswell used few times but couldn't go back in the room for another 30 mins.

On an empty house re-wire, grinder is the only way to go. Get all your chasing done in a day, then the dust can settle over night.

You get dusty knees and some bogies but its not that bad.

Suit up!
