Finally fitted in time to take my practical 2391 exam and passed it woohooo!

It was freezing in the exam centre and my hands were numb after 30 mins, certainly didn't need that.

The hardest part for me was the inspection board where you have to find 12 items not complying to BS 7671. I struggled with the 20A socket circuit. It wasnt until time was almost out of time and the examiner promted me to have a look at the front cover of the CU that I realised it was an OUTSIDE socket, which of course would be required to be protected via rcd.
Hope that helps someone who maybe taking it soon?

Spoon242 By the sound of your post you have passed one of the assessments given mid course, you still have the end of course practical to contend with. Its bigger and a bit more scary but if you're used to testing and follow the correct procedures you'll soon realise it's nothing to get yourself uptight about.
Well done for your pass:)

No sir,

I have completed all 4 practicals,

1. inspection board, (30mins)
2. insulation resistance board (20Mins)
3. earth loop impedance board (10 mins)
4. full periodic test board (2 hours)

I passed my theory way back in July, but because Trade skills 4 U dont let candidate sit practical exam until the theory is passed I had to wait and with work commitments I had to wait.
