Discuss Any one do the 2391 tonight? in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Can't be long to go now before we get the results - end of this week (commencing 12th sept) hits the "42 working days" / 8 week period i was told to expect.
Anybody know how we should find out? my college lecturer said to call him for results but others i have talked to said a certificate simply dropped through their letterbox.

see thats what i cant understand i thought results were released at the same time over the country how can one person know they passed but not others?

Results are forwarded to college 1st. I was sent confirmation of practical via college last Thursday, then a mate told me he had been contacted by college Monday for re-sit. Unless college tells you, you wont find out until C&G post results. Plus colleges have examinations office that may be slow returning this particular course results as they wade through all the other C&G courses. Good luck

I suppose I ought to admit that I am Postman who studies electrics in his spare time.
The point I am making is the post is now in such a shambles due to terrible decisions made by management to re-structure deliveries with the aim of shedding more staff.
As a consequence of this deliveries have now become unreliable so it's probably best to phone the college.

Phoned the college today, apparently I passed.
The information was taken from the City and Guilds website so I guess that's how it works.
The colleges have access to the results posted by City and Guilds online.
Good luck everyone.

You would have thought they'd have a switch to flick on and off to engage an override. Not on each PIR but an actual light switch
