are u sure you click on 'new' instead of 'relevant'.

good luck mate a keen person like yourself should find work anytime soon.

Thanks bud. Yeah i noticed the relevant/date thing in the job sites. It took me a couple of days to realise haha. Also, do you reckon i should say I've got alot more experience than just 4 months? I don't really wanna lie cos they'd know as soon as they put me on site

Instead of making a false statement make an alternative statement.
I do not know your work experience but from this thread you could say something like the following:
I am a trainee electrician who is well placed to provide comprehensive assistance in electrical tasks, I have useful trainee experience of new build properties and multiple residency installations to enhance my capabilities to help.
I am also actively pursing my educational pathway to accelerate my knowledge and skills up to a competent level.

If you were to state this, this would be true and if one reads between the lines it says: I am on a training course and have helped out at a new build installation, but just said in different terms that may appear better.

On a CV you can state skill areas rather than jobs held, this is particularly relevant for when you have done agency work as the tasks can be many and varied and it is irrelevant to list all jobs you attended.

Thanks for the advice mate, that sounds great. I'm not sure why I'm not getting a response from anything. Heres my CV... is it really that bad??

Your CV seems OK, I do not think you will necessarily be being unsuccessful because of the CV but because it is a buyers market out there and the employers can pick and choose.
Even if you had the best skills and experience you might well not get many responses so it is not just you or the CV. Life does not always give the best chances, but it does give some chances so good luck on finding those chances that will be there somewhere.

I am not in any way a human resources person but key point to remember are that the employer will be only very quickly assessing your CV and looking for key points to match his requirements, anything else in the first instance is immaterial.
Therefore read the job spec for which you are applying and modify the CV so that the points wanted on the job spec are high up on the CV and clear to read. Try and keep it brief and to the point and try to arrange it so that your most important skills are prominent.

Just in case it may help I have had a brief attempt at rewriting your CV in an alternative style that may be more suited to the current job role, though my choice of wording may be less applicable.
I have shortened the wording, avoided prominence on your earlier employment, removed job specific references and tried to ensure that the major points are near the top of the CV (ECS card and 2365).
I have also added more references to safety (though probably not enough) and used key words at the start of lines so someone reading down the left edge will see positive or relevant words.
I have de-emphasised socialising and football as they can be seen in two ways: oh, someone who is always hungover on Monday mornings and never available on Saturday afternoons, or ah, a fit person with good social skills.
I did 1.5 space the lines but this did not come over on pasting into the post.

I really have no capability to say if this would work any better and I would recommend perhaps considering this as one of many possible templates on which your CV could be based.
