Earthing conductor looks correct size, appears to be the correct amount of cpcs required for amount of circuits, bonding will be going off to another met closer to service head....... you got me Pete! Curious now.......

Not another MET, there is only one MET for an installation (assuming there is only one incoming supply)
If there is another terminal after the MET where binding conductors are connected it is an EMT or EMB (earth marshalling terminal or bar)

Never heard of it. I was always taught that the earth bar inside a consumer unit for all intents and purposes was considered a main earthing terminal, especiallly when met is referenced to in bs7671. Another example is when referenced to in your schedule of inspections on either an eicr or initial verification
