Hi guys /girls can you run armoured cable straight into c/unit or does it have to go into Henley block and then run tails from that ?

This could be the one to tip Mike over the edge, come to think of it its got me pretty close.

Some of the posts today have got to be wind up if not the forum is becoming a joke

Sharp intake of breath!

Please explain, with the aid of diagram if necessary, the method for terminating an armoured cable into a henley.
Of course you can terminate one directly into a CU, I've done it thousands of times as have most of us on here I'd be willing to bet BUT you will need the appropriate glands.
Just as a matter of interest, why would you think this would not be possible/compliant

Please explain, with the aid of diagrams if necessary, what you consider to be "basic electrics"

he could just show us his cheque stub for 3k and I bet it was dated about 5 weeks ago
