Hi guys /girls can you run armoured cable straight into c/unit or does it have to go into Henley block and then run tails from that ?

Agree with trev mate.... its not about having a dig its just that electricity is dangerous and with that basic question youve got to work supervised for a bit before you work in peoples homes and cause serious harm.

Nah! .... it was that silver one over there <-------- that's my latest acquisition that I bought in October just about 2 weeks before I fell ill. It's one of the last ones made so I'm wanting to keep it as original as possible. It's a VERY comfortable car and drives well and doesn't hang about for a 4 pot 2 litre job as a couple of Audi things have discovered.

The one with the knackered engine is one year older than the silver one and is red and has been "upgraded" by replacing the 4 pot 2 litre with a V6 3 litre which is really what these cars should have had in the first place - the torque is just phenomenal. Anyway, I bought it with the knackered engine intending to rebuild it but money & health issues have got in the way.

One day maybe .......

Keep going, pal. You'll get there.

Have tried to get more experience but most sparks have not got time I done electrics for years only dealt with domestic all I ask was re Henley block and as I said I wired it straight into CU just wondered why he done this . I always refer to the on site guide but it did not say any think so that's why I came on here I am not a dummie I am competent person just got the words wrong I will find out what it was called

I lose track with your cars!

Had another look at my knackered Focus today, don't know wtf is going on, going to have drop the transmission for further investigation! GRRRRR!!!

I've only got four (I think)

1. A 2002 reg Mazda 626 that I bought brand new and served as the works van. Now used when I have long distances to cover or lots of people to carry.

2. A 1980 Toyota Celica Cabriolet (means it's got a canvas hood) 4 wheel steer and has 4 seats but you can only ever use the front two. It's quite rare apparently and spent most of its life in France. There is no rust anywhere on it. It goes like stink and since a full suspension & steering, brake upgrade it handles beautifully BUT it isn't an MR2 which is what I prefer and I didn't really want it in the first place but I've got it anyway.

3. Is the red MR2 with the knackered 3 litre V6 which I want fixing.

4. Is the silver standard 2 litre MR2 that I won in an E-bay auction in October just about 2 weeks before this bloody illness kicked in and that's it over there <-----
