Hi guys /girls can you run armoured cable straight into c/unit or does it have to go into Henley block and then run tails from that ?
 
The fly lead needs to be a suitable size too.

So to answer your question definitively...

Yes gland the armoured directly into the CU. But take into account our other points.

Ifan SWA needs to be terminated into henley blocks (we do not advise this) a metal enclosure would be needed around them to properly gland the SWA.

to the OP:

go hit the road...you think you can come in here and fool us into stuff like SWAs into a henley block do you?

why dont you just do it right with an IP box with 3 phase blocks fixed into it...then come out of that with any tails....
