Same job as the round patress.
Lady has new electric oven and seperate electric hob coming.
Both are apparently 32A
B&Q want a seperate radial for each.
I would of thought that with discrimination I could of reused the existing 45A cooker circuit, but B&Q say no.
It will be a real pain to run another feed (laminate floors throughout).
Comments please.

Reading all these posts make me so angry, Angry at the complete incompetence of kitchen fitters and angry at the money grabbing schemes out there and Napit are the scheme provider for B&Q!

I have done work for B&Q before and I knocked it for 6 after the second job for them, It was such a farce...

The two jobs I went to:

Require main bonding to be upgraded which they didn't quoted for and I struggled like hell to get the money out ot of them, then you have to tell the client your ripping the house to pieces to get it done!

B&Q wouldn't accept my elecsa certificates... They wanted napit ones to be used. Ok so I ask to supply me with Napit one's to fill in, the moron B&Q supervisor turned up with black and white seriously faded one's that said 'SAMPLE COPY ONLY' right accross each page.

Installing hobs with cooker switches directly above them, it went on and on. Why do people carry on working for them?!?!?

If your experience is that bad, and Napit are the preferred "vendor" of choice, it would seem that Napit may have a credibility issue on its hands. Wonder if Napit every take any of these posts seriously? I'm sure that ALL of the scheme providers will be reviewing posts on a daily basis.

Makes you wonder if the scheme providers should do random "inspections" based ont the jobs notified!
