What are your nominations for the worst retro steps that have been made by our industry? my nominations are:

1. scrapping of stranded T/E cable in favour of the solid rubbish we're stuck with today.
2. the stupid new cable colours.

let's have other nominations. the best will receive a "thanks" and a "like" ( sorry geordie, no broon in the prize list.)

there was this spanish owned firm i used to work for ages ago...so as you can imagine there were a few spanishmen goin round...there was this one of em that looked just like it (joe90)...in fact, thats what we used to call him....joe90....lol...

Joe 90, how could I have forgotten about him. That whirly thing he used to sit in scared me.
No one has mentioned Captain Scarlet yet, I'm surprised at that too. I had a few of the toys and found them in a box while moving house a few years back and gave them to my son and never saw them again.

He was a toad but was usually called frog, yes it was David Jason and Terry Scott

10 points to Morph. Greenback had a crow sometimes but he was a villain in it in his own right sometimes, his main pet was a white caterpillar who's name is lost in the mists of time.

how come theme tunes were a lot better back then n'all? i've been listening to 'smooth 70's' on my radio at work, and they play a couple of tv themes every now and then. littlest hobo springs to mind. i know it's not zeppelin, but it's still catchy after all these years.
