I'm trying to figure out if that means they're good or bad.:confused:

Hi Marvo, I think you'll find that it's both in the one statement. i.e. 'dog's nuts' usually refers to something being perfect etc. 'pig manure' means that they're not.
So they were supposed to be but in reality they're not. as with a load of things in life.

i was looking at these, there is two differnt sizes tho.. and seem ok at around ÂŁ20, am i coreect on this
havent usecd snips since the crap toolkit we used when i was in the army college. I use the cutters below. Will cut and strip upto about 35mm easily. i only use snips for cable ties, and then i use the carpenters pincers.

ive just bought a set on ebay ÂŁ15.81 free shipping best price i have seen them to be honest they wanted ÂŁ25 in wholesalers hammed my last ones cutting socket screws (wont be doing that again)
 
knipex S range..... the dogs dangles...
will cut 16mm tails with one 'bite', 25mm with two...


When they are brand new, they also have a clever device in them for finding live cables....
 
oh, and they wilol also hammer in clips, (3inch nails at a push) ... lift floorboards, punch plasterboard, undo nuts, and even cut meter seals :) :) :)
