Bathroom bond with ELV lighting?

Hi All,

Could one of you chaps clarify this for me?

As I understand it:
a) no supplementary bonding is required if all circuits are RCD protected and meet disconnection times.
b) no RCD is required if ELV lighting is used.

Therefore, is supplementary bonding required for point b? (assuming no other circuits or accessories present)

any circuits in a bathroom must be rcd protected its a special location, it is irrelevant if using 12v downlights or gu10

That's not what I was told on my 17th upgrade course last week! No need for RCD if 12V lighting only.
