Bathroom Lighting

I Recently won a job to replace the bathroom lights in 45 appartments (28w 2D lamp type) with new fittings of a more "fashionable" style.

I got a few demo's from my local supplier which all had 3 x 25w G9 lamps in them which were delivered Friday so went out this morning to test. I tried one in the first house and it was terrible, the light output didn't nearly match up. I tried the others with the same results so then went to a local wholesaler and bought a fitting with 3 x GU10 lamps in. Again although the light was brighter, the directional style made the bathroom look duller.

The impression I am getting is that the original designer had the right idea when putting in these 2D light fittings. Has anyone on here replaced with anything more stylish but with a similar/or better output???

I spoke to the client about getting some modern 2D fittings but they said they wanted a more contemporary style.

Any ideas?

Thanks?

pick a few from where you buying from and let the client decide... sure they let you try them out if your buying 20+ by the way how much you charging per light?? im nosey
