I think I picked up somewhere that bathroom lighting now has to meet certain specifications due to moisture and so on.

My bathroom has a really awful looking light fitting in there and I want to replace with a spot light unit. What do I need to look for when buying a new fitting?

And what makes bathroom light fittings so much more expensive than other light fittings?

Thanks

Straight forward like for like replacement doesnt require notification, put yer light up yourself mate, but as previously stated it must be rated for its environment, i`ve seen the mess 4 Gu10 spotlight bulbs make when they have been sprayed with a shower by accident, they exploded all over the bathroom and allover the youngster in the shower as well, thats a side from tripping the lighting as well.
