Right angled drill, used both Makita and dewalt
I had both mains and battery, got fed up with the battery one and sold it.
Still have the Makkita

Go for mains

If you are doing one or two holes every so often the battery one is perfect. But I agree, any more than this you would need a ton of batteries.

I will warn the op though, if you end up with the same one we have be careful, she's a beast! Would take your arm out your socket if it dug in!

Hi there, just joined and might be a bit late , however, i have makita 18v lithium kit. i bought the angled drill as i needed one there and then to get me out the ****. best thing ever though.

have you got something if so what did you get?

Dave

I local power tool wholesaler have right angled adapters that fit straight into your chuck. Great accessories. You'll be smiling when you remember you bought it...........a few jobs down the line.

We used to use them every now and again, we used to hire the 110v makita from local hire shop, was about £12 for two days. Boss never fancied shelling out the £250 odd to buy one!

Was Makita DA4000LR absolute beast, munched through 4" joists like they were butter!
