Hi all,

What's the situation if someone wanted the combo boiler fitted above the toilet in a bathroom with a shower?

Chances are it will be in zone 2.

Is it not allowed or is it acceptable if it's boxed in?

Would the FCU need to be in the loft or outside bathroom if it was boxed in?

Thanks

Me Da's Aunt Carrie had an outdoor netty.

In the winter she used a burning candle inside a Terracotta plant pot to stop it freezing. It seemed to work cos her netty never did freeze up - even during this -->>>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAQ3Wg-I6gw

I remember on the fields near our estate. There was a steep hill with a worn path going down to a large pond, where we used to catch taddies and sticklebacks. The pond froze solid for weeks and we used to get the self made sleds out and bomb down the slope, across the pond and end up about 50 yards past in the field of snow.......bleedin' frozen hands though...with them woollen gloves peed wet through....and toes droppin' off in t' wellies.

I remember those days well!

Sledging down the Bankie Fields almost to the TYne - a good couple of miles.

There was a dog that used to follow us about. It was a bit of a mongrel and some said it was a Border Collie - Husky cross. Anyway, we made good use of him for dragging the sledges back up the hill.

I remember that so well, I thought it was great, the whole family at home, making do with what we had, shops closed because of no deliveries, mum doing what she could in the kitchen and hot water bottles when we went to bed.

Yep, my dad still went to work, but always came home with something to make us warm, that was the first time I tasted stones ginger wine and he put red light bulbs in the side lamps to make it feel cosy.

Yep! .. My Dad did too.

Over 30 years at the same place and walked there & back every day over 2 miles each way nightshifts as well. He always managed to find some bits scrap wood to bring home for the fire.

Never had a car & never wanted one. He said he had had enough of driving during the war driving trucks & Tank Transporters all over the place.
