Hi, so I’m on a job currently and there’s no bonding to gas or water!

Gas isn’t an issue, as the meter is in the same cupboard and the consumer unit.

Water stop tap is on the complete opposite side of the house with no easy route without a fair amount of damage to decoration. Routing the cable around the property on the outside isn’t possible as it’s a mid terrace.

Any suggestions on what would be possible?

Is cross bonding from the gas pipes acceptable in the case?

Thanks

A gas pipe may not be used as a bonding conductor, so no.
Sometimes I have been able to route the cable into the loft and back down into the kitchen.

I assume you have checked that the water pipe is actually an extraneous conductive part?

I had one the other day, stop tap right at the back of the house and needed to do some kitchen electrics, bloke is saying be very careful with the incoming water pipe as its lead so don't bend it. I had a closer look to see where I could clamp onto and it was a black plastic alkathene pipe, luckily I hadn't ran 20M of bonding in yet.

Is CU and Gas under the stairs? Or in corner of front room, or over the front door?
Random ideas:
Cellar?
Floor void under ground floor?
Lift landing floor boards, through airing cupboard to loft, down back of house?
D-Line trunking, under kitchen cupboards?

I would really try and see where the water enters the house, to see if it is a blue plastic pipe, meaning no bonding required.
10 mins with an inspection camera could save you a lot of work.
