thus intruducing an earth potential where doing so could make the installation less safe.
yes that was the same council where there was a broken socket in a corridor and as we were unable to get a like for like replacement the same day we had to wait about an hour while they decided if we could fit an mk instead of a crabtree, thats one job I certainly don,t miss.

well, of course, a major decision like that needs to be put to the council in chambers, a full 55 page report, risk assessment, method statement, then passed to H&S for approval, followed by a letter to NICEIC ( coz. that's the only official body governing electrical installation , according to councils ), before you are even allowed to fetch a different brand of socket from the van.

If you want to explore the yankees knowledge of the effects of electricity on the human body, google failed electric chair excecutions. Bearing in mind that chamber is not a special location and they are not tied to putting it through any ADS,pretty shocking (first crap pun of 2013)

Is that the time that they didn't wet the head sponge enough and the poor geezer got 'gently' fried over a few minuites?

As defined by the United States Department for Labour: Between 5-15mA you can experience painful shock and you begin to lose muscular control.

You could be right, maybe you poo yourself at 5 and can't let go at 10?

We're arguing semantics :D

We are in a way, as it all very much depends on the circumstances a person is in, when the shock is received. The values i've stated, are just the standard generally accepted EU/BS values...
