It is all extraneous parts which need bonding, not just pipes.
Agreed. Its just an often overlooked matter where the service pipes are plastic, but the internal pipe work is metal. Reg 528.3.4 does not specifically refer to extraneous conductive parts, just non electrical services, although they are referred as such in 411.3.1.2.
To be honest it's a long time since I looked at the regs concerned, I might refresh my memory later when I get home from work. If I'm not too busy cooking dinner
