if a gas meter is in an outside box, and the gas pipe runs up the outside wall and runs into the house just under the landing floor boards, at what point do you put the bonding clamp?

As i said, as long as it is bonded and accessible, then it has to be better than nothing at all.

The reason i said the box stems from going to job couple of yrs ago, an 80 yr old women who had had some jobs worth round inspecting the boiler, he declared it dangerous as he couldn't find any bonding on the gas. Stuck a sticker on the boiler and turned it off told her not to use it, mid November to !!

We got there opened the mains board 2 10 mils in the earth bar, she had no idea where her slippers were never mind certs, eventually found the main bond under the boiler but plastered over.

Could have saved all this hassle if it was in the meter box.

If the box is sank into the wall does this count as inside the installation.
