Bosch of dewalt drills!!

Looking between dewalt and Bosch for drills good combo and sds >.< can't choose help me pick guys XD

I am a Dewalt fan myself but you can't knock Bosch for the money

All my kit is Bosch Professional, Id rather buy it over any other brand, but in reality they probably all come out the same factory.

If you go for the 18V Bosch combi get the metal chuck version. The cheaper one is tat in my view. All my gear is pretty much Bosch blue and has been excellent bar the drill I mention.

The metal chucked version has more uummppphhh also and can cope quite well in brick if you can't be hassled to get the SDS out.

yes and no, i wouldnt go for brushless if it was a lot lower spec for the same money.

the makita brushless drills for example are a lot more money but then there specs are higher as well

88 vs 100nm torque
longer battery life etc

but its £75 vs £125ish body only.


if your on a budget go for brushes but if you are willing to spend more and want a tool thats runs longer and cooler go for brushless

Ive used various different brands and types of drills, when it comes to SDS i found Bosch Professional to be the best in my opinion, never had a problem with them, and as Shanky said, go for the brushless if you can

Bosch 36v sds is probably the best drill I have ever bought. Batteries charge in 20 mins and it will easily drill sixty 20mm holes in joists or studwork on one battery as well as having the power to drill a 25mm hole through a 60cm stone wall (not on the same charge that is)
