Hi All,

My company are sending me on the inspection and test course. I am not training to be an electrician (I am a design engineer) but have been requested to have these qualifications.

I have 17th Edition and guidance note 3, do I need the on site guide too?

Many thanks
B.

Well done,
Did you get told much about what to expect in the 4 hour practical ?

Yes, it is a 3 phase dB that splits to a single phase board with all the trimmings.
There is a motor controller too.

First two hours initial inspection then two hours Periodic.

Filling in paperwork too.
Cheers

I took the final practical today...... and passed :)
It was very intense and I am shattered lol
A full EIC with 2 result sheets as there is a sub board.
Followed by an EICR after faults have been added.

Three C2's and a C3 (for circuit identification).

I enjoyed the day but I am glad it is over :)
Cheers

Always be learning.. once you have a trade as you have you can add little things to it.

and when the Money comes in you can start to study things you are intrested in, and try and make a mark on this planet.
So easy and so many people just live and vanish.

I would love to have some credited to me.

Apart from this
