taking the time to slate and then trying to cover up like ur unable to help it is pathetic.

some jobs need a sensible approach, taking into account various factors, safety been the most important.

the op was about uv damage.

the advice u offer i dont want or need, overskilled lends suitable advice on this issue.

In that case, you won't find me toning down again as far as you are concerned!!

If you're trying to say that it's sensible to tie an external new cable to existing cables on a flat roof, you are digging yourself deeper into a bloody big hole!!

the op was about uv damage.

UV resistance is only a small part of the job, what about the installation that you obviously intend to make a complete pig's ear of?

the advice u offer i dont want or need, overskilled lends suitable advice on this issue.

Of course you don't want to hear sound advice, but you certainly NEED too!! Far too many cowboy's around already!!

Do the job in question correctly and to a recognised installation method, or walk away and leave it to a qualified electrician that WILL!!

The only Bellend here, is YOU!!

30 years in the industry, and considers that cable tieing a new cable installation to an existing fixed cable on a flat roof, you're having a laugh, Right?? That's exactly what i'd expect from a electrical trainee....

Exactly, not complicated at all, but you can manage to make it look like a retards been at work....
Sensible approach, Not stupid, I know how to safely install!! My arse, keep repeating those 3 statements and convince yourself you're not digging a hole for yourself!! Jesus Wept!!
