Sometimes, I think we have become a Nanny State, then other times I think we've gone backwards. How the pendulum swings.
 
Hi all first post here but I don't think cables in cavities are permitted, directly through a wall is a necessity sometimes, (100mm cavity) but running 4 plus meters in a cavity, well what reference method is that.
