Can i be 17th edition spark in 3 days?

I'm not an electrician but would like to be. When I was in the job centre today I saw a number of 17th edition electrician posts available. I typed in become 17th edition spark and I'm looking at a £400 course over 3 days? Any good? Can I get a job with this?

as an old used and abused young lad i became a spark through luck really didn't know what i wanted to do but i enjoy it and i'm glad i did this

now the hard part but some of you on here have done other jobs and thought wow sparks earn lots of money i'll become one of them . part of me feels that your not true sparks and part of me says your 20 times cleverer than me
i can see your point when people come on here with stupid questions and want to be a sparky and you all shout at him but i do feel its us time approved people that should do that and all you johnny come latelies should try and help them

no that takes 3 seconds,but to pull a pint and pour a wine and take payment all at once that takes at least 3 days.to also rewire the boozer at the same time,a week should do it..

Appology accepted: But you have to understand that to ask a question like that on here is a bit like suicide, there is no 2 / 3 / 5 or 25 day course that is going to turn you into an Electrician the 25 day course may give you the Basics but thats it. I've been in / around this trade for nearly 40 years & I still don't know it all & never will.

My grandson gets his JIB card tomorrow. He's not quite 10 months old, can't walk, talk or read but he and I communicated telepathically and I imparted all the knowledge I have gained during my apprenticeship and the subsequent 28 years so of course it's doable for an adult in 3 days.
