Can I combine the common wires to the live terminal?

The 2 way switch was an existing circuit and the two new circuits are 1. 6 x led downlights and 2. under unit led lights.

I can remove the 2 way switch.

Thanks

I think it’s possible…. But You’de have to be certain that the C of the 2 way… (black with brown sleeve) is on the same circuit, And is the switch going up to the light.

In addition to littlespark's advice above, surely the two way operation of the right-hand switch will cease to work once the smart switch is fitted. The interconnected 2-way switch elsewhere will turn the light off, but the smart switch would then be unable to turn it back on! Maybe that doesn't matter, and you can just do away with the two way switching?!

Thanks both

I'll have a play tomorrow in the daylight.

"Same circuit" - same breaker?
It has to be going up the the old light fitting doesn't it?

I'll definitely retire the 2 way switch as it's redundant now anyway.

You might find that the other end of the 2way circuit has a Live, SwitchLive and the 3 cores of the 2way cable you show in the first photo. If so it may not be quite so easy to 'retire' the redundant switch as there will be live cables there, they wont all be at the light!

I might replace this switch with a 1 gang smart switch and program the 3rd button on the 3 gang to control it.
