Cat 6 help please

Im just trying to get my head around this.

Basically how do cat 6 systems work,

for example a simple intercom system for a flat where you can buzz them in and can speak to them from the intercom phone..

Where would you get a supply for this because its not just like twin and earth where you can put it in a mcb .. also when wiring a intercom how is it actually wired from stage to stage..like does the supply go to a transformer then ...... then...........

Yeah Comelit are decent as well, have found some of their systems quite complicated in the past for what they are, a lot simpler straight forward systems doing the same thing!

I mainly use Videx gsm systems and BPT for gate entry systems as I use Came as a main supplier, they own BPT now and supply Videx.
