I have a dead short on a buried cable feeding a lampost in a car park, digging a trench isn't an option.

would there be any reference to using a catenary wire to feed a lampost?

Not sure what you mean by 'any reference to using a catenary wire'.

With a dead short can you not locate the area of the fault and dig to cable and joint? What is the cable?
No need to trench and replace the entire cable

Hey guys, would there be any reference to using a catenary wire to feed a lampost? I have a dead short on a buried cable feeding a lampost in a car park, digging a trench isn't an option. The lampost is 6m high and I can maintain the 5.8m min height. I'm kinda running out of ideas here. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

can you get a mole company to help? if the site is suitable to be mole'd.

I'll enquire but there are alot of other services buried in the car park, I don't know if it gonna be possible. Thank you
