Im a member of the NIC EIC Domestic installer scheme and ive been asked to re-wire a warehouse, - nice job
Would i be able to undertake this kind of work - only you can answer this one - do you feel that you know enough about commercial (taking int account your a domestic installer - not saying you dont!)
and provide a certificate? - Commercial is not Part P so your fine
Am i correct in saying i does not come under part P as it isn't a dwelling? - correct

Just remember every certificate you hand out your saying you did the job to the best of your ability and as far as you know you have done everything to ensure that the install is safe.

If your not confident in commercial then by all means do the work but have someone close to hand to give you advice

What planet do you live on?

Times are hard and people take on tasks that they are not 100% confident about - thats how people learn!
Some people are so hard-up for cash they will take on any job!

Well as i a said should anything go wrong they get everything they deserve.
How many time on here have we seen a home owner asking can I do this?

Home owners have been doing there own electrical work for as long I have been a sparks, nearly 20 years so don't think that this is just people trying to save a quick penny in these hard times.

It applies to commercial if it shares the same supply as a dwelling.
