Most of the good old chippies are long gone now. we have a hand full left where i will go now but I would avoid more than i would be happy to go to. a lot of ours have turned into takeaways offering pizzas kababs and curries as well as fish and chips and i think that`s the problem. like said in a previous post its cooked to order. most are dry and the fish is disgusting the chips crack a tooth and if your lucky you can fire proof the swa run with the not so mushy peas after you have decided not to eat them aswell
