Recently sat my 2395 written paper (4/12/12), I thought I was well prepared but the dreaded 3/4 lead earth electrode test came up, so I failed. Just wondering if anybody knows the pass mark, the most recent results I can find is June 2012

That 27% is the amount of candidates that pass the exam not the percentage a candidate needs to pass!

i would like to know more about the 2395 - is the 2391 now defunct then ?

An exam pass rate of 27% means one of two things...
1: the exam has a very high pass mark, 70 or 80+ %
or
2: the candidates just aren't up to the mark.

Either option, I reckon all electrical/technical qualifications should be raised to this level...

hi archy, i think you have made 3 good points there to be honest; although i would have to say that c&g ought to be transparent with pass marks retrospectively. An autunomous body is one thing ,but an autocratic body is
altogether another.
