anyone used the new ck armour slice swa cutting tool? if so how good is it

Looks like an improved version of the bladerunner, the blade is fixed which is an improvement over the bladerunner's floating blade.

I use a hacksaw and knife and make a good job, but the sexy look and hint colors of this new cutter I keep seeing on the counter in Eddys does make me keep wanting to buy one.

I do like my junior hacksaw and knife method, it's reliable and works fine, it's here to stay for a while yet.

I prefer a junior to a full size hacksaw on the smaller armoureds.

i bought the ck tool from elex. well worth the money. not better than hacksaw, but when you come to snap the steel armour, all the strands are equally scored. with hacksaw you often get the odd 1 or 2 strands that are not scored enough.

Sometimes you've just got to embrace modern technology.
You won't catch me using a traditional screwdriver where a power tool will do the same job.
Sure hacksaws and knives do a great job, but is someone releases a reliable, effective and time saving alternative I'm all for it!!!

I prefer a junior to a full size hacksaw on the smaller armoureds.

I use a large hacksaw, if the cable is small enough for a junior I use my cable cutters lol, a junior is a boys tool, admitedly it has a place but very far and few between where it is needed in our trade.

This is a genuine pic of an Electrician using his impact driver to do up board terminals, he wasn't the only bloke from this firm, they were all doing it. .

When I saw him I said wtf and he said its for the speed and torque as it's a requirement in the regs
I showed him a proper torque driver he wasn't impressed!
