Looking at adding this nifty bit of kit to the old tool bag. I've used an old shoddy plastic one (Don't think it was CK) just wondering if anyone's used them and whether they're decent enough for an investment?

Took a bit of getting used to for me, but once figured out it's a great bit of kit. Very neat cuts. Not necessarily faster than a junior but would reach for the CK tool first.

There was a thread recently on it.Anyway I just got one and am really pleased with it.No problems at all and it does a really neat job.Best to read the instructions first and make sure you rotate it the correct direction.

I had looked at them a while back when they were having a big push in the wholesalers. I take pride in the speed of my swa terminations with my junior :)

I have got one, I have used it the last few times, I have used it on 1.5mm 3 core, 2.5mm 3 core, 6mm 3 core and 16mm 3 core, all of which it did a nice easy job.

I find if you ring the steel braid so it will snap off it works nicely.

Overall I am quite happy with it.

i like them, there handy especially with the spare blade holder on the device.

a sharp knife and your away, 220grit progression to 8k will remove your skin with the sheath lol.

trust me i have done it

25mm 4 core is easy for it. As above, it gives a nice neat clean cut. Have a practice first, dont over tighten the blade like I did, instead of cutting the steel it grabs it and pulls the steel wire out of place (just ask Tel about that one lol).

Found it very handy when working in confined places with 2ft of swa and not much elbow room. The blades last a decent amount of time but the painted arrow to show which way you have to rotate it fades/wears off. Just look at which way the teeth are facing on the blade lol.

I had a Stanley hacksaw like that once, replaced it with a nice Facom one that is much better
similar to this except it was silver and still a piece of ****
