Hi all I was hoping for some guidance as I'm preparing for the AM2. I've seen comments online saying a question came up in the AM2S that I'm struggling to find an answer for. When using a tester on data cable what is the cause of a light showing on the master unit but then it's missing on the remote? As I understood it if there is an open circuit on a conductor then lights would be missing on both units. I've not seen or heard of just one missing before. Any help would be appreciated, cheers

Broken or disconnected cable core.
There’s no guarantee that the transmitter can see a fault, it’s always worth checking the receiver.

Some of the expensive testers the above is not true but for most, it is.

Thanks James, it’s not something we deal with often at work
