Would any one have one to hand they could measure or know the dimensions? I'm wondering if they will fit through a 50mm hole? Cheers

I did say old, that's why I couldn't continue as Q.S any more when you are trying to maintain compliance with BS7671 and your M.D. is fighting against you anyway left over two years ago not looked back since much more relaxed no stress .
I'm not s Q.S but I know the feeling when you try to comply but your boss ultimately says"well I haven't priced for that"

One day I came back to the office and the locked filling cabinet where the NICEIC certificates were locked away was all ripped open with a hammer with a pile of certs on my desk with all made up information. Well you know the saying what comes around, had NICEIC visit '' can I see all the yellow copies of certs issued from pad xxxxxx well there they were marked void with made up results forged signatures.

Apologies Lee gone off topic a bit.

I've used a couple of them (ssshhh Westy will go mad). I expect they will be fine in free air (as in this case), but if you have to fix them to anything, you have to fix the lid then roll over the base with the terminals & cables, if you see what I mean. It's a bit of a faff.

wrong.... you assemble the terminals and the cables in the lid. then fix the base, then close lid. if clipping cables close to the box, do this after fixing the box. and @ ÂŁ1.66, cheaper than click.

Right, we are at cross purposes. The bit without the terminals in, is the bit that is fixed down. Meaning you have to do the connections standing on your head :) It would be better t'other way round.

the restraints are in the lid anyway. see pic. the base is empty as shown.

i think you'e put the terminal block in the base instead of the lid.
