3 core Swa feeding ip rated plastic sockets outdoors.
He 3rd core of the Swa has been used as a cpc but the armour is not connected to earth; but has been made off with metal banjos. Would this warrant a C2 or C3? I'm assuming as the armour isn't extraneous a C3? ?
Thoughts please ...

Thanks for the helpful input everyone. No cores were sleeved and u had that as a C3. In two minds about the armour but C2 is the winner!
That sounds about right to me. to rectify it though you will have to link the armer at each socket if not already connected and connect one end (normaly at the db)to earth

What new colours I always use white as the cpc.

I see a darkness coming on, maybe trouble ahead. Are you deliberately being controversial or doe it come naturally? You know exactly what people are trying to discuss, why throw a wobbly in the mix?

I think he's doing it on purpose! Just look at some of his other contributions to threads!

3 core SWA with white - when was that?

I don't go that far back but I seem to recall working on installations as a dogsbody in the early eighties and the existing 3 phases were red, white and blue with neutral being black?

Red YELLOW and Blue with Black as the N, or are you extracting the urine?

Nah, even a youngster like me has come across the occasional but of red white and blue

Well if that's true and I'm not doubting you, it's a new one on me, you sure it wasn't yellow but a bit faded? or maybe the light was bad and you need to visit Spec Savers, oh they weren't about, or are you extracting it as well ? lol

I assume said contractor is part of a Part P scheme (NICEIC, Napit, few others..) in which case complain to them. They'll investigate (in theory)...
