Is there any good and not too expensive design programs for computer to draw designs of wiring systems in a domestic situation? Anyone? Anyone?:D:D
 
cheers. i'll try that. never thought to click the +. i was clicking on installation.
 
all i can get is a huge list, cables, parts etc. click on anything, nothing comes up
 
Try selecting "Installation Drawings" ... that should give you some "drafting paper" at the top of the screen, you should then be able to drag/drop walls/doors etc to design the room layout then add sockets etc (default height for sockets is 200mm .. the man from delmonte say non!).

Which bit did you download Telectrix? I downloaded the wrong bit first. I then found that I needed to download and install the SEE Electrical Building (FREE) bit.

I could then see bits.

It looks like a Microsoft Office based application, a bit like Visio...
 
don't get anything like that. in workspace i get say installation with a blue square, then below that a load of guff with green blobs on the left
 
downloaded the wrong one. just done the building electrical going toi have a play with it.
