I really don't want to take this post off topic but it's an area I feel fairly passionately about. Your reply is a misconception and a small part of problem that is slowly ruining our industry.
I don't think anyone will argue against the fact that C&G 2382 can be passed purely by using the index....
Therefore producing a crisp C&G 2382 certificate gained by using a book index does not make somebody competent. In my own opinion, a thorough understanding should be obtained before the exam is sat.

OMG. What qualifications did you get that stop you from using your brain or even common sense to Look in the book and try and work it out first before taking the easy cop out???? The competency question has just been answered, your not.I'm more than competent to find it in the book but the simple fact that I asked on here first because it's a lot easier, just because i asked one question means I'm not competent? I will happily send you over the pile of certificates and qualifications to prove i am competant if you like??
