Hi,
With the domestic installs I have carried out, I have connected to the electrical systems the following 2 ways:
1. Connect into the customers existing consumer board.
2. Install a garage unit dedicated for the PV system, split the tails of the incoming supply and connect directly to the garage unit.
Is there a general preference between installers as to what is the preferred method of connection to the electrical system?
Can the method of splitting the tails are the supply be used the same for a 3phase system utilising three phase inverters?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
