Consumer Unit: Neutral and Earth bus bars?

I've just bought a 10/12 way Consumer Unit, but it has no Neutral and Earth bus bars. There are two vertical rows of screw holes 19cm apart which I guess are to fit them on.

The place where I bought the CU doesn't seem to stock them, are they a standard fitting?

If it was sold as a domestic consumer unit it should have come complete or kit form with neutral and earth bars unless you got it cheap one from a car boot sale. If you still got receipt i would just take it back, if this aint possible try a few wholesalers they may be able to get spares from manufacturers but dont hold your breath on that one.

I bought it new, from CPC - see here.

Admittedly it doesn't say it includes them, but I kind of assumed ...

Think you on a learning curve with this one its only advertising a consumer unit enclosure and not a fully kitted consumer unit.

An enclosure is just that. Cover, dinrail and maybe a few other bits.

Consumer unit is ready to go.

So will the bus bars be a standard fitting, or do I have to get the same brand?

I would think you would need the same brand as all enclosure are made differently.

Having said that, you may find Hager ones would fit which you could get from your wholesalers.

They may have to order it in tho.
