Contactor wiring ?

Evening all, can one of the Guru's of the forum help me please ? I have been watching my mentor wiring up UFH the past couple of days, and now its my turn in the morning :ack2: under his supervision. I have taken it upon my self to get a head start and was wondering if this proposed diagram would work correctly? I have very little experience with contactors so would like some guidance.

All looks good apart from your netutrals, the feed to switch the contractor is from a 13amp supply yet the neutral is from the 32amp supply.

Thanks Dillb, I'm hoping to get this sometime soon. So if I replace the A2 with the 13A supply's neutral the switch over will work ?

Yes, it will work the way have drawn it, but you would then have the problem if a shared neutral.

Ok I think I have it now always keep the neutrals relevant to their supply. Thanks for correcting me mate much appreciated.

i can. he's supplied the A2 form the other neutral is all.

A1 and 2 are the live and neutral from the thermostat. 1 and 2 are the incoming 32A supply the contactor is switching and 3 and 4 are the corresponding switched live and neutral to the heat mats.
All as you would expect.

Can I ask why the neutral is switched as well? Most of the contactors I see are just switching the supplys

Can't beat a mobile device when they work Marvo it's just a pain when they don't!
